El
Paso Chile Company had plans to market the fresh, innovative Salsa
Loca to a variable audience. To hit the packaging mark, we would
have to create packaging that would successfully communicate to
the many groups within this broad audience. We used “beer
bottle” packaging to create a casual, lighthearted, personality,
then added a multiple sticker approach to more closely identify
with specific groups. Salsa Loca emerged as the top seller in its
category.
