We
began building the visual brand for jockey-turned author Dick Francis
and his murder mysteries more than 20 years ago. The distinctive
horse and jockey, featured in each design, spurred an immediately
recognizable shelf presence. The illustrations served each storyline
individually, while uniting the series as a whole. Always a murder,
always a horse, always a rider — and never the same.
