Its brand, however, was fractured by a patchwork of disparate identities maintained by hospitals within the system. Our client needed a unifying identity system that would coherently represent the strength of the institution and build on its recognition.

Solution

RBMM created a flexible identity system unifying 160 healthcare entities under a single UCLA Health System brand. This comprehensive identity package addressed every identifying component from the naming hierarchy to logo design, color palette, typography, and application. The entire program was delivered in an accessible online site equipped with print-ready digital art, user templates, and product order catalogs.

Today the UCLA Health System identity matches the organization’s extraordinary reputation. On the strength of its new identity, UCLA Health System has experienced a marked increase in perceptions of excellence by patients and the community.
