Challenge

CityCenter was designed to create a new paradigm for urban development. One of the world’s largest LEED-certified developments, the 67-acre convention center and resort would reshape not only the Las Vegas skyline, but also its urban identity. But the development was just breaking ground, so sales materials would have to bring it to life for meeting planners without the benefit of existing architecture. And in keeping with the developer’s commitment to conservation, all materials had to be sustainable.

Solution

RBMM created a sales kit for elite meeting planners comprised of two brochures, one to present the brand and the other to sell the convention center. The kit also included a flash drive with a video of the CityCenter vision and a capacity pocket for additional event planning materials. Constructed with E-flute recycled materials, FSC-certified papers, and no glue, the kit was totally biodegradable. We also designed a more economical yet still sustainable version for mass distribution.

While meeting the sustainability challenge, this sales kit established CityCenter’s high-end brand, capturing the project’s essence through stylized, fashion-forward photography, sleek design, and uncompromising production. The kit, like CityCenter itself, resembles nothing else seen in the hotel and resort industry.
